2nd great grand uncle.

Daniel Coholan was baptized 16 Oct. 1791 in St. Finbarr’s church, South Cork parish which is in Cork City, Cork, Ireland.  His parents were Danl Cahalan and Cath Walsh, hence he is a brother to my Jeremiah Coholan.  Sponsors were Danl Crane and Eliza Cahalan.  It is likely that the family lived on Bandon Road because the family lived there in 1790 and in 1801 according to baptismal records for his siblings.  Bandon Road is also very close to Hospital Lane where Daniel’s brother, Jeremiah and family were living when Jeremiah was baptized in 1802.

Daniel married Mary Monahan (place unknown).  He and Mary Monahan Coholan were among the original settlers of Teetotal/Cork Settlement, New Brunswick.
